What had been a Business with living accommodation became a full time home. They spent many happy hours together planning its conversion into a small but attractive residential property. Their status changed from commercial renters of a grade-two listed building to its proud owners. He chose to stay at the café with his partner Patrick Bell.

Michael End could have moved away when riches came his way, but he didn’t. The Bell End ceased trading when one of the owners inherited a fortune from a distant relative and no longer needed to make a living from the sale of coffee, cake and sandwiches. The most unusual feature of the café, the thing that sets it apart from the rest of the pubs, shops and bars that cluster it, is that it isn’t a café, not anymore. The Bell End Café is situated at the very tip of Canal Street or Anal Street, as it’s more commonly known on account of it being the main street of a bustling city’s gay village. It's Christmas Eve and seventeen year old David Delaney has incurred the displeasure of his mentor and guide Patrick Bell by behaving irresponsibly, he did so deliberately, but the question is why? Just by her story telling I can tell she is a wonderful person and you will not get her writing.Note: this short story is now included in the 'Bittersweet Seasons' anthology You only insult her, and she deserves praises, not insults. If m/m stories are not your things, then do not waste this authors talents by reading it. I absolutely adore these 2 men in the story and I highly recommend reading this story. Any story that sticks with me long after I have read I feel is a gift that the author is sharing with the rest of us who can not write. I truly find her one of the best writers I have ever read. You just forget your life for a while and get absorbed into her writing. There is no feeling of grabbing a dictionary to define words that you have never heard of. All her characters have strong values and love their partners greatly. They do not stray from the relationships. All her writings are about love, devotion, and relationships between men. As you can tell, I myself am not a writer, but I feel strongly I need to sing this writers praises. The author has great humor to her story telling. This story is a love story that takes a while for the characters to come together, but it is a great ride until they become partners. I kept waiting and waiting for this book to finally be finished and it didn't disappoint.
